Ichijo Modori-bashi Bridge

Bridge over the Horikawa River on Ichijo-dori Avenue.There are many legendary stories about the bridge, such as the resuscitation of Kiyoyuki Miyoshi, Tsuna Watanabe and the demoness, and the bridge divination of the yin-yang master Seimei Abe.

Kurama-dera

Located in the northern part of Kyoto, Kurama-dera is known for its spirituality and its breathtaking natural beauty, something that has been fostered in Kurama for ages. The temple itself has a history from the year 770, and each season the temple shows visitors a different face. Whether you take the cable car or hike up the mountain, you’re surrounded by verdant mountain forests where you may be able to spot some of the local wildlife.

Seimei Shrine

It is a Shinto shrine that is located in Kyoto, Japan. It is dedicated to the onmyōji, Abe no Seimei.It was founded on the 4th year of the Kankō era (1007) by Emperor Ichijō, who ordered the shrine built in memory of Abe no Seimei, after his death in 1005. It was constructed on the site of Abe no Seimei's house.The main building was restored in 1925.

Kitano Tenmangu Shrine

The vast shrine grounds have many more things to see. It is known as one of the nation’s best places to view ume trees. When the flowers bloom, the Bai-en (ume garden) is open to the public. The ume blossom festival on February 25 has a tea ceremony where the geiko and maiko of Kamishichiken come to serve matcha and sweets.

Konkai-Komyoji Temple

It was founded in 1175, and is one of the eight head temples of JHODO sect, the major Buddhist denominations, and located in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto.The precincts of the Kurodani include the site where HONEN, the founder of the Jodo sect, stayed with his lifelong follower Shinku after leaving the mountain HIEIZAN in 1175 to proclaim his new Pure Land teaching.

Mibu-dera

Mibu-dera is a Buddhist temple in Nakagyō-ku, Kyoto. In the Middle Ages, the temple revived a performance created by the Yuzu Nembutsu monk Engaku known as the Dai Nembutsu Kyōgen. It is also known for having been affiliated with the Shinsengumi. The temple has taken on several other names such "Jizō-in ", "Hōdōsanmai-in ", and "Shinjōkō-in ."
